Chhichhore Movie Reviews

Chhichhore: The main purpose of romance comedy cinema should be to serve the entertainment, but the film which gives the message along with the entertainment will have to say the icing on the cake. Director Nitesh Tiwari's 'Chhichhore' is also the film of the same league, which has many layers. With these layers, everybody will associate themselves to a harsh layer. Whether it be the shattering memories of college days, the talk of dying in friendship, parenting, the pressure of promising students to be selected in a competitive exam, or the ego between divorced spouses.

Raghav (Mohammad Samad), son of Anirudh (Sushant Singh Rajput), is very promising and hardworking in studies and writing and is going through the pressure of getting selected in the entrance exam. Anirudh is a single parent after taking the divorce from Maya (Shraddha Kapoor). When Raghav is not selected in the entrance exams, he is unable to bear the shock and tries to kill himself by jumping from a friend's building. His heart and brain are deeply hurt in trying to commit suicide. When Anirudh sees the son going out of his hands, he takes his hostel to the days of rescue to save the son. In the hostel, Maya's love for her befriends close friends like Seksa (Varun Sharma), Derek (Tahir Raj Bhasin), Acid (Naveen Polyshetti), Bewada (Saharsh Shukla), Chris Cross (Rohit Chauhan), Mummy (Tusshar Pandey) If you get, then the Rivalry of top students like Regi (Prateik Babbar). The body of Raghav, who has gone into deep unconsciousness, begins to respond with memories of his father Anirudh. Anirudh collects all these zigzag friends from his hostel. Anirudh tells Raghav how those infamous people in the hostel, known as Lodgers, tried to free themselves from the tag of Lodgers, but the story of Anirudh's past makes Raghav's condition critical. If Anirudh, the past of Maya and his friends will be able to save Raghav, you will have to watch the film.

Nitesh Tiwari is a sensitive director and his qualities are also seen in 'Chhichhore'. He has depicted the atmosphere of the nineties very beautifully. Small details such as loose jeans, Casio watches, Reynolds pens, Playboy magazines of that era have added color to his characters. Since he is also the co-writer of the film, he has shown the pressure of children getting selected in the entrance or medical examinations. In an emotional scene of the film, Anirudh confides in front of his wife Maya and friends that I had brought a bottle of champagne so that after the child was chosen, I would praise drinking and drinking with him. I told my son how to celebrate when elected, but did not tell him what to do if he did not pass the exam. Nitesh also strikes a good rapport between the scenes of the present and the flashbacks. The world of Bachelor Boys in Boys Hostel entertains the audience with comedy, Chhichore dialogue, romance and rivalry. However, the film also has a glimpse of films like 'Three Idiots' which won the same, Alexander.
In terms of performance, the film is rich. Sushant Singh Rajput has also lived well with the young Ani, the middle-aged Anirudh. Shraddha Kapoor is likewise outstanding as Young and Machiara Maya. She is also beautiful in the film. Sushant and Shraddha's innocence is reflected in the chemistry. Varun Sharma's character as Seksa was uproarious, yet he has engaged a great deal with his commotion. Mohammed Samad's performance as Raghav is full of sincerity. Tahir Raj Bhasin's work as Derek is powerful, so the characters of Acid (Naveen Polyshetty), Bewada (Saharsh Shukla), Chris Cross (Rohit Chauhan), Mummy (Tusshar Pandey) add life to the story. Prateik Babbar as the dim character Regi has worked admirably. The songs composed in Pritam's music are average.

Who are the girls?

Before telling the quality of the film, let me tell you one of its drawbacks. The title of the film does not suit the characters of the film at all. Of all the main characters, none of them can be called Chhichora.
Well, then the story begins with a divorced couple whose son is living in the stress of studies. He feels that being successful is the only option. And when he fails, he tries to die. Why? Because he believes that there is no point in living like a loser. Shocked by this extreme step of the child, the troubled parents do not understand what has happened! Then in the ICU, the father sits at the head of the son and narrates the stories of his youth to the son, when he and his companions used to be declared losers. Do not shout spoiler-spoiler, because what has been told so far is done in the first 10-15 minutes of the film.

The real fun is in those stories that the father told his son. Those memories of his college life are from which your own nostalgia will jump out. And if you have ever stayed in a hostel, then you will feel strong connection to this film. Annie, Saxa, Acid, Mummy, Derek, Bewda, and Maya. The college life of these seven will be able to tickle you and sometimes make you laugh.

What is quality

The biggest feature of the film is that despite the name 'Chhichhore', Humor is not a Chhichhore. It does not hover over the borderline of obscenity. Humer is such that it is easily visible among friends. Some punch lines, some scenes are very hilarious. Like Saxa's telling Annie that the hot girl in engineering college is like Helix's comet, comes once in 76 years. The slogan writing scene for sports competition is fun. And the scene that makes the chef a fake coach creates a sense of humor. The film becomes big in these small moments.

Also count the easy, beautiful acting of all the lead characters in the account of merits. Sushant Singh Rajput Jhakkas work. When talking to Shraddha for the first time, her stuttering scene is a beautiful certificate of her unique performance. In the film Boyz, Shraddha's part did not come much but as much as he did, he played well. Yes, in old age she seems to be more conversant than Sushant. Varun Sharma has become horrifically stereotyped. The 'Fukrey' spit does not come out from inside them. But it is also a matter that suits them all.
Tahir Raj Bhasin also looks good in the role of worn-out senior Derek, and Naveen Polisetti in the role of acid accustomed to abusing. Tusshar Pandey played the role of a timid student who remembers his mother on the matter. And Bewda, who used to diving in Daru, was gladly shaken to make a great pot. Shocked by the emblem Babbar. He has played the role of villain type senior. They should do more films.

Any other drawbacks?

Nitesh Tiwari's direction is excellent. He also maintains the balance of humor and maintains curiosity in the story. Yes, the film has pulled a bit. It could be shortened. One more thing, when all the friends are shown old, their makeup looks very fake. Meaning only changed the face and the rest of the body is the same. It feels different. This too could have been avoided. Apart from this, everything else is tasty.

There is also a message

The film also gives an important message and that too without shedding the Ganges without knowledge. Laughing That is after the success of everyone, but no one tells what to do after the failure. Even if you always win, it is not necessary. If there is anything important, then you should not let the monster of failure dominate you. Just keep moving forward. The film is to be seen only for this message.
